Pregnancy improves your fertility age
Did you know that within the cervix there are mucus producing cells, this is where the alkaline fertile mucus is produced that forms swimming lanes for the sperm so that they can reach the egg safely and easily. Without fertile mucus sperm are killed on contact and so it’s a vital component for conception. As women age these cells die away and that is why when asked about fertile mucus, so many women say that in their early 20’s they had loads but now they’re in their 30’s or 40’s it’s a lot less. One common reason for a lack of fertile mucus is too much candida in the body which can sometimes cause thrush symptoms. Two of the best ways to remove candida from the system include taking a good probiotic, and removing sugar and yeast from the diet.
What fascinates me is that when a woman falls pregnant, the mucus producing cells in the cervix regenerate, producing more fertile mucus. This brings a womans fertility age down by 5 years each time she falls pregnant. This could well be the reason that whenever you hear of women falling pregnant in their late 40’s, it is often their 2nd, 3rd or 4th child as their fertility age has been brought down by previous pregnancies. Cherie Blair is a good example of this as she fell pregnant at 45, but it was her 4th child. So if you have experienced miscarriages or unwanted pregnancies in the past then this will actually be helping you in your quest for pregnancy.
