Promoting Egg Health & New Egg Production

That’s correct, you heard me right. It’s not just men’s bodies, but women’s bodies can manufacture brand-new eggs as well.  It was once thought that women were born with a fixed number of eggs that deteriorated over time and that was it. Still, important research proves that women also manufacture new eggs throughout their lives until they reach menopause.

The ovary is a complex organ that we only started studying ‘scientifically’ about 80 years ago.  Chemo drug trials showed that all participants produced new eggs and the chemo drug ABVD, actually increased egg production at a faster rate causing higher density.

The important thing to note is a woman’s lifestyle plays a crucial role in how long she will continue to produce new eggs and their quality.

So what can you do to promote the health of the eggs you already have and the production of more?

Have homeopathic treatment to improve egg health

Individualised Homeopathic treatment promotes your level of health, a little bit like giving your body an MOT, it helps the body run at its most optimal level.  Giving it the maximum amount of energy for cell production and efficiency within the body.  When I work with people not only do their symptoms improve but they will often comment that they have more energy, they are sleeping more deeply and they are feeling more optimistic and happy, all sure signs that their overall level of health has significantly improved

Maximise blood flow

When your blood flows to the organs efficiently, egg cells and the ovaries receive more oxygen and nutrition.  This facilitates the brain to deliver strong hormonal signals to the ovaries.  To improve blood flow you can:

  • Do regular exercise
  • Have regular treatments like acupuncture, reflexology and massage
  • Drink plenty of clean water
  • Take fatty acids either through the diet or through supplementation
  • Increase foods that encourage nitric oxide production eg: garlic, onions, beetroot, leafy greens, pomegranate and watermelon
  • Improve your mitochondria

Your mitochondria produce energy that your cells need to make ovulation, fertilisation and implantation happen. Growing evidence even suggests that the potential for an embryo to be successful is related to the ability of the egg cell’s mitochondria to generate energy.  To improve this:

  • Incorporate more antioxidant-rich foods (i.e.: brightly coloured fruits and veg)
  • Balance blood sugar (eat regularly and balance protein, fat and carbs within each meal)
  • Switch to natural products and remove toxins from your life as much as possible
  • Reduce inflammation: i.e.: cut out seed oils, processed foods and sugars
  • Get a minimum of 8 hours sleep and be in bed asleep before 11 pm
  • Consider taking supplements like CoQ10, NAC and drinking green tea regularly
